NJbirds---
Chip Krilowicz and John Danzenbaker both saw an imm. White-faced Ibis at Brigantine (Forsythe) NWR this morning, 5/29. The bird was inside the west pool from the south dike, halfway to the observation tower, but flew off and was not relocated as far as I know.
Also at Brigantine, a bright female Red-necked Phalarope was seen by several parties at the northwest corner (north dike) on Monday 5/28 about 11:30 AM.
The Curlew Sandpipers at Thompson's Beach were not seen on Monday 5/28 (fide Paul Lehman). Shorebird numbers have dropped considerably since Saturday, and it is very possible that the Curlews have moved on.
The White-faced Ibises at Bivalve (adult) and at Reed's Beach Road (imm.) both continued to be seen during the weekend.
