There is an adult PURPLE GALLINULE at the Allendale Celery Farm, Bergen Co. It was found around 8:30 this morning by Kerul Kassel, David Leeman, Stiles Thomas, Mike Limatola, and myself.

It was viewed from the first large tower overlooking the marsh at the point (the Warden's Watch) It was mostly in or near purple loosestrife to the left of a Wood Duck box (to the right of the main channel) It hides very well and can be lost for periods of time. There was also a report of a Common Moorhen in the same general area so be careful.
