Subject: Re: Curlew SP and Fork-tailed FC
The last report of the Fork-tailed Flycatcher I know of was on Wednesday, 22 August in front of house #524 on New England Rd., on the way to Higbee Beach (A. Pochek). The last report of the Curlew Sandpiper, as far as I know, was Monday 20 August (R. Wright) at or near the "usual" location at Stone Harbor Point. I haven't heard whether the Purple Gallinule has been seen again since Sunday 19 Aug (F. Lesser). The last date I have for the Willowwood Henslow's Sparrow was 8 August (G. Wood). If anyone has more recent observations/dates for any of these, I'd also be glad to know of them. It's always hard to find out the LAST date of a bird's occurrence... ..
