Subject: Pacific Golden Plover update

NJBIRDS,

Shawneen Finnegan called at 10:30 AM to say that the Pacific Golden Plover is still present this morning, Sept. 6, in the same location: about one-third mile east of Route 77 on Olivet Road (also marked Hannan's Lane in at least one place) near the town of Deerfield, on the Salem/Cumberland County border. Look for a small group of birds also containing a few American Golden Plovers, a Black-bellied Plover, one or two Baird's Sandpipers, and some Killdeer.

Please park well off the road and be careful when birding; Olivet Road is in active use by very large farm machinery.
