Subject: Pacific Golden Plover update
NJBIRDS,
The Pacific Golden Plover continues; it was seen this morning between 9 and 10:30 at the same location in Salem County NJ. According to reporter Carleton Schooley, there were at least 50 American Golden Plovers present, more than have been reported before. Also present are 2 Baird's Sandpipers, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Black-bellied Plover, Killdeer and Snipe. It will be interesting to see whether the incoming front will take these birds away when it passes; please let us know whether or not it is seen tomorrow (me at the address below and/or Shawneen at zoothera.cm@verizon.net).
