Collared Dove X-To: NJ Birds X-Accept-Language: en Late this morning a Eurasian Collared Dove was seen flying south by CMBO staff working at the Two Mile Island section of the Coast Guard Station (now offlimits to everyone but CMBO staff). Late in the afternoon (between 3 and 4 PM) the dove flew past the Hawkwatch at Cape May State Park. For about 30 minutes it was seen near St. Mary's a few blocks away. It then flew a short distance out of sight and was not seen again. The tail on this bird is missing a number of inner tail feathers, but is otherwise in good plumage.
