Subject: Ash-thr Fly, Swainson's Hawk

NJBIRDS:

An Ash-throated Flycatcher was seen briefly this morning (Saturday) in Cape May Point State Park, and the continuing immature dark-morph Swainson's Hawk was seen several times during the morning only in the Cape May Point/W. Cape May/Higbee's area as well. The Higbee's "Oregon" Junco was seen briefly again as well. There was also a late Empidonax sp. at Higbee's that disappeared (it was NOT a western species); elsewhere there was a hummingbird sp., a couple Clay-colored Sparrows, a brief Lark Sparrow, Grasshopper Sparrow, 2-3 Orange-crowneds, and the usual assortment of late-ish warblers, vireos, swallows, etc.
