The Cape May Black-chinned Hummingbird was again present repeatedly this morning (Monday) up until about 8AM, but then disappeared and had not been seen again as of 10AM or later. Given that hummingbirds are diurnal migrants (at least in part), and that some other vagrant hummers have disappeared in the AM after a few morning feedings, it may well be that this bird has moved on. If it reappears, we will post an update.
