Subject: 2 Cave Swallows and Black-tailed Gull (not), Cape May

Today, Friday, there has been no sign of the Black-tailed Gull, but gull numbers are WAY down from yesterday close to shore, probably the result of the moderate NW winds. Large numbers of gulls are visible way offshore. Gull numbers on shore appear to be better with light winds, and overcast weather is fine, too. Saturday is forecast to have light winds and clouding up in the PM... One Black-headed and several Lesser Black-backeds have been seen.

Two Cave Swallows were present for an extended period today (Friday) over the western section of the South Cape May Meadows. These are probably the same two birds that were present in late November. Also 1 Barn Swallow present, and about 50 Trees.
