Here are two messages related to a Le Conte's Sparrow at Palmyra on Sunday.
I believe the area in question is at the extreme south end of the Palmyra Cove nature preserve. This preserve is located just south of the Tacony-Palmyra bridge. From Rt. 73 westbound, take the last exit in NJ, and bear left onto a service road that curves around the tollbooths and left beneath the bridge approach. Park in the parking area by the Delaware River. Walk the trail south along the river through a locust grove then bear left into an area with extensive tall weeds. I believe this is the area Ward and Tom are describing. If I learn any further details I will post them.

On Sunday I found a LeConte's Sparrow at Palmyra. It was in Campo's area on the back side.

A Leconte's Sparrow was discovered today, Nov. 7, by Ward Dasey at Palmyra. Check the grassy area next to the leaf dumping site.
