Subject: Loggerhead Shrike in Cumberland County
NJBIRDS:
On Sunday January 2 a Loggerhead Shrike was found on the Cumberland Christmas Count. It was seen again yesterday. The directions I received are as follows:
>From Cedarville (by way of 553) take 610 south (Jones Island Road). You will come to an intersection. Take the right hand fork to Bay Point Road. Look for green Shepard farm buildings on the left side. Just beyond these on the right is some migrant housing. The shrike was on the wires just beyond these.
