Northern Wheatear, near Pittstown, Hunterdon Co.

A Northern Wheatear was present Saturday 18 Sept and today, Sunday, 19 Sept, at Hoffman Park, near Pittstown, Hunterdon Co. It has been easily seen near the sign at the park entrance, as well as perched on posts and on the driveway.

To reach the park, exit from I-78 at Exit 15 (Pittstown); at the stop sign, turn Left on Rt. 513. Proceed 4.7 miles to Rt. 579; there is no sign but look for the Pittstown Inn on the corner. Turn Right. Proceed about 3 miles to Baptisttown Road and turn Right. Go another 1 to 2 miles and look for the sign for Hoffman Park on the Right.
