On Frank Windfelder's classic, DVOC, Ruff hunt to Pedricktown, NJ, Ward Daisey was the first to spot a rather plain-Jane Reeve (along the causeway). Despite Frank's persistance we were unable to find a Ruff. Mannington Marsh was excellant.

On a DVOC trip to Southwestern NJ, a Reeve in winter plumage was found adjacent to the causeway at Pedricktown. It was present at high tide, which was at 9:30 A.M. The bird was seen from 730 to 1000 AM. The group proceeded to Money Island Road south of the town of Salem, where the previously reported Clay-colored Sparrow was seen well by all.

Good Birding !
