Subject: Thick-billed Murre, 2/19, Manasquan NJ

Don Sutherland et al. saw a Thick-billed Murre at Manasquan Inlet at 7:30-8 AM on Saturday 2/19. It drifted south along the beach, and was not relocated later in the morning.

Updates:
The Thayer's Gull along Ocean Drive was present Saturday 2/19. It was present for about 15 minutes from 3:45 - 4:00 PM. A 1st winter Iceland Gull was also present. These were seen by a group from Cape May Bird Observatory. (Thanks to Tom Reed for the report.)

The drake Barrow's Goldeneye at Sandy Hook was seen on Saturday (Sandra Keller) and Sunday (Derek Lovitch) along with a large flock of Common Goldeneyes.
