Subject: Cave Swallows in Cape May

Well,....yawn....snore....This year's vanguard of November Cave Swallows finally arrived today (what took them so long!) in Cape May. I had two Caves from my house this morning (Monday), as they were circling around over the South Cape May Meadows with a few Tree Swallows (also seen by T. Parsons, K. Lukens), then they drifted on toward the west and were later seen from the hawk watch (State Park) by Vince Elia, who counted at least three birds. (He also had two "more" birds after the first three went by, but it isn't certain if they were repeat of new birds.) All of the birds continued on to the northwest. Assumably they will be back...
