Subject: Swainson's Hawk, "Oregon" Junco

An immature Swainson's Hawk was found at 5PM today (Friday) in the Cape May Point area, last seen going to the area around the Beanery, possibly for the night. With the fairly strong NW to N winds forecast to last through early Sunday, the bird may well stay in the area through the weekend--maybe!

There was a female-type "Oregon" Dark-eyed Junco at Higbee Beach this morning, moving around a fair amount but seen by many people.

Otherwise, several Orange-crowned Warblers and a Clay-colored Sparrow, as well as a "Gambel's" White-crowned Sparrow.
