Little Stint upd 17 Jul 99
The Little Stint was seen Saturday at the Higbee impoundments in the
early morning until 11 AM. It disappeared until 3:45 PM when it was
refound. It is unknown as to where it went during the intervening
period. The water at the impoundments is drying up quickly and may not
be present much longer.
We really appreciate and thank the 99.9% of the birders for complying
with the restrictions involved in seeing the Little Stint. Unfortunately
one person was found trespassing on private farmland this morning,
instead of staying on the road. Please, please stay on the road.
