about me

I'm a PhD candidate in Sociology and Social Policy at Princeton University.

My dissertation examines the impact of Hispanic population growth on black–white relations in the United States. More broadly, I am interested in boundary processes, especially as they pertain to race/ethnicity and nationalism. Additional research projects investigate the consequences of diversity, the geographic distribution of US patriotism, national identification among immigrants, and the contextual determinants of naturalization. My CV is available here.
