The video shows the welding of a high performance bicycle frame using the
tungsten-inert-gas (TIG) welding technique. The tungsten electrode does
not melt and become incorporated in the weld. The heat melts the tubes
locally and the inert gas (argon or helium) minimizes the incorporation
of oxygen, nitrogen, or hydrogen in the weld.
