A nice suggestion for a game with a nice atmosphere from Henrike, in the Netherlands:

I usually use tea candles in front of every player to indicate who is alive and who isn't. The moderator may go around during night when everybody is asleep and just blow out the light of the person who was killed, or may ask them to do so themselves in the morning. In any case it adds greatly to the athmosphere and not being in a room full of light makes it easier to misinterpret faces (adding to the fun).
