Variants of Mafia RulesStoiberOne of the many roles suggested by Michael Hoffmann, of Germany. The role was originally created by Ching-Hwa Eu. More information can be found at this site. The name comes from the bavarian governor Edmund Stoiber, who is apparently known to support hard laws against illegal immigrants. The Stoiber can point at someone during the night, who is deported. That means that player does not participate in this game anymore like a dead person but he does not flip his card. As he does not take part in this game he cannot get killed at night or lynched at day anymore. He has to be treated as a dead player whose identity remains secret. The group of "illegals" are special characters on the side of civilians, and include Saulus/Judas, Masons, Scharping (both versions). But very important players like "Angel" or "Archangel" ar not "illegal". The Stoiber plays on the side of Mafia and cannot be killed by them at night.
