Hi! Welcome to my web site. I am Masahito YAMAZAKI, a postdoctoral fellow (an associate research scholar) at the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science, Princeton University.

Before coming to Princeton I was a JSPS postdoctoral fellow at the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe, and as a graduate student I studied at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, the University of Tokyo, while spending considerable time at the California Institute of Technology. Here is my Curriculum Vitae.

Research Area

My research area is theoretical physics, in particular theoretical high energy physics. I have been working broadly on gauge theories and on string theory, sometimes at the interface of neighboring areas such as mathematics, particle phenomenology, cosmology and statistical mechanics. I have recently been working on exact results in supersymmetric gauge theories and mathematical structures therein.
