Team History The Princeton Men's Club Ice Hockey Team is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA), a Division II league of the American College Hockey Association (ACHA). Our league games are played against Varsity programs at colleges such as the UPENN, Wagner, Rider, Lafayette, Monmouth, Seton Hall, UMBC, and William Patterson. Additionally, we schedule several non-league games per year. In past years these teams have included Georgetown & Westchester.
The Princeton club program is a decade old, having been founded in 1994 by Dave Landes after the cancellation of a Junior Varsity team in the early 1990s. Originally, Princeton Club Hockey was a member of the Delaware Valley College Hockey Conference--where it won league championships in 1996 & 1997--until leaving the DVCHC after the 1999-2000 schoolyear.
This past season, the team ended a successful season after losing 5-3 to growing rival Wagner College in the MACHA championship game. See information from past seasons in the Princeton Men's Club Hockey Archives If you have any other information on the history of the team, or would like more, please e-mail us at mcice@princeton.edu.
