The Princeton Mock Trial team holds a semi-annual high-school Moot Court tournament each November and April. Participants spend two days on the scenic campus of Princeton University and compete in four preliminary rounds in two-person teams. Afterward, the top sixteen teams move on to the playoff rounds, and the tournament culminates in a heavily attended final round with a full panel of nine judges. In addition to a challenging level of competition with high-school participants who offer diverse perspectives, participants enjoy the opportunity to meet Princeton University students involved in similar organizations at the college level.
The Fall 2009 Princeton Moot Court Tournament will take place on October 16th and 17th. The registration deadline is September 25th. Please email Tournament Directors Dana Weinstein (dweinste@princeton.edu) and Sarah Van Cleve (srvan@princeton.edu) with any questions.
UPDATE: Case law has been added to the moot court case. Good luck everyone!
