This database indexes over 3,600 cases in which the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) was involved to some degree, from the filing of amicus briefs to the full representation of litigants. The case files are part of Series 4 of the post-1950 ACLU records held at the Mudd Manuscript Library. You may search by case name, decision date, state, or subject. The search result also will provide you with the microfilm roll number for specific cases. The microfilm can be viewed at the Mudd Library. It is also available for sale via Primary Source Microfilm.
