Dulles, John Foster, Papers, 1860-1988

This collection includes letters from and to Dulles, memoranda of conversations, personal notes and records, drafts of speeches and articles, newspaper clippings, photographs, mementos and memorabilia, and letters from and to Janet Avery Dulles (Mrs. John Foster Dulles). The correspondence, diaries and journals, writings, speeches, statements, and press conferences series in this collection are available in a microfilm publication which can be purchased from Primary Source Media.


Dulles, John Foster, Oral History Collection, 1964-1967

The collection consists of 282 individual transcripts of tape-recorded recollections of John Foster Dulles and the events in which he participated. This collection has been microfilmed, and the film can be purchased through Primary Source Media.


Dulles, John Foster, State Department Microfilm, 1953-1959


The collection consists of microfilm copies of original Department of State documents, many of which carry a United State Government security classification. These documents include selected telegrams, memoranda of conversations, minutes of meetings, briefing papers, and other materials from the official files of the Department of State covering the period of Dulles' tenure as Secretary of State.

Dulles, John Foster, Dulles-Herter Series, Ann Whitman File, Eisenhower Library

Eisenhower's personal secretary, Ann Whitman, maintained this series for all documents passing between the White House and Dulles. The Mudd Library maintains copies of the Dulles-Herter series, which is housed at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene, Kansas. John Foster Dulles Centennial Conference

The records of the John Foster Dulles Centennial Conference can be found in the Woodrow Wilson School of Pubic and International Affairs Records, 1847-2002. These are the records of the conference entitled "The Challenge of Leadership in Foreign Affairs" held at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs on February 25-27, 1988 in celebration of the centennial of Dulles' birth.
