Professor Mulvey provides technical support to large private financial organizations.  The research focuses on optimizing the organization in a dynamic, adaptive environment.

In 2010, he became chairman of DPT Capital Management, Princeton, NJ.

From 1990-2008, he worked with Towers Perrin and its Tillinghast business in the area of asset and liability management systems. The scenario generating system, CAP:Link, plays an important role in this regard.  The ALM systems are employed to optimize defined benefit pension systems and integrated risk management for insurance and reinsurance companies.
