Meghan Murphy, '99,
Hometown: Great Fall, VA
High school:Langley High School
Profile:
Meghan will be a senior this year and will be looking to build on the
significant improvements in her game that she made last year. Last
season, Meghan struggled
with some mid-season injuries but by the end of
the year was playing the best squash of her
career. At the Howe Cup,
she found herself down 2-0 in a critical match. During the 90-second
break between games, she was able to overcome her frustration, figure
out what she had to do,
and then go back and do it. Meghan came back and
won the match in the fifth game, contributing
to the 8-1 defeat of a
very competitive Harvard team. Her experience can make her an important
contributor to this year's results.

off the court.
She is very competitive and her drive and leadership
will be vital to the team's success.
Avery W. Coleman '99
Hometown: Rye, NY
High School: St. Paul's
Profile:
Avery is another player who showed great improvement over last season,
partially due to an improvement in her physical health as she finally
recovered from some back
problems that had plagued her for two
seasons. She is a strong player and made a big
contribution to last
year's championship season. Last year she played some great matches and
had several big wins. She saved her best result for the Howe Cup, where
she dominated her
opponent to add to the 8-1 victory for the Tigers.
She started squash at the Apawamis Country
Club under the guidance of
Larry Hilbert and was the number one player for the St. Paul's School.
She is anticipating another exciting year as a member of the team.

game and has made great strides while at
Princeton. Last year she
posted an 8 and 1 win loss record in dual match play and displayed
some
of her best ever squash. Liz's years of dedication and commitment has
been excellent,
particularly as it has been difficult for her to
establish a regular position in the top nine
of this talented squad.
