Richard Hankinson graduated from Cambridge University in 1962, and has played squash for over 40 years. He has worked as a hospital administrator and international civil servant and for the last 20 years he has been at Princeton developing the demographic database "Population Index". He had been with the Women's Squash Team as Assistant Coach since 1990. He qualified as a Part II (Intermediate) Squash Coach in England, is Co-Director of the Princeton Junior Squash Program, writes a regular squash column for "Squash News", is a past President of the Central New Jersey Squash Racquets Association, and has been ranked as high as No.3 among U.S. men over age 55. He retired after the 1999 season.
