Research Interests

I am a computer architecture geek by nature and by profession. I am primarily interested in solving some of the grand challenges that future many-core architectures and systems face. I have mucked around with various layers of a computer system, especially looking at parallel programming, cache coherence protocols, on-chip interconnection architectures and memory schedulers. Historically, the focus of our group has been on architecting efficient on-chip networks as well as embedding intelligence into the network to leverage some of the inherent scalabilities that such networks posses. Our group also looks at some of the challenges that mobile networks and systems face. Feel free to browse the specific projects I have looked at.
