| Dr. Ninoslav Marina received his Dipl.
El.-Ing. degree from University
"Sts Kiril i Metodij," Skopje, Macedonia, in
1998, and his Ph.D. degree from the Mobile
Communications Laboratory at the Swiss Federal Institute of
Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), in January 2004.
Part of his thesis was completed at Nokia Research
Center in Helsinki. After the graduation, he
worked as a researcher at the Signal Processing
Institute at EPFL, and later as a Head of
Research and Development at Sowoon
Technologies, Lausanne, where he was responsible
for several national and European R&D projects. In
2007 he won the Swiss
National Science Foundation Fellowship for Advanced
Reserachers to spend one year as Visiting
Scholar at University
of Hawaii at Manoa. During the period 2008 -
2009, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at UNIK - University
Graduate Center at University of Oslo
where he worked on projects funded by the Research
Council of Norway. In 2008, Dr. Marina won the
prestigious Marie
Curie International Outgoing Fellowship from the
European
Commission and is currently a Visiting
Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton
University. |
