Ninoslav Marina

Dr. Ninoslav Marina received his Dipl. El.-Ing. degree from University "Sts Kiril i Metodij," Skopje, Macedonia, in 1998, and his Ph.D. degree from the Mobile Communications Laboratory at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), in January 2004. Part of his thesis was completed at Nokia Research Center in Helsinki. After the graduation, he worked as a researcher at the Signal Processing Institute at EPFL, and later as a Head of Research and Development at Sowoon Technologies, Lausanne, where he was responsible for several national and European R&D projects. In 2007 he won the Swiss National Science Foundation Fellowship for Advanced Reserachers to spend one year as Visiting Scholar at University of Hawaii at Manoa. During the period 2008 - 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at UNIK - University Graduate Center at University of Oslo where he worked on projects funded by the Research Council of Norway. In 2008, Dr. Marina won the prestigious Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship from the European Commission and is currently a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University.
