The NMR
Facility serves a large community of users within the Department of
Chemistry, other Departments on-campus, as well as Companies of the Industrial
Associate Program (IAP).
The NMR lab currently consists of six spectrometers from 400 MHz to 600 MHz, and W/Mac computers to remotely access all spectrometers, dowload the experimental data, and process them with our standard off-line NMR processing software.
The 400, and the 4x500 MHz spectrometers operate on a 24/7 basis open access (see schedule below). After mandatory operational training by one the NMR managers, users are granted their own account to perform experiments.
The 600-MHz spectrometer has limited access, due to the specificity
of its hardware, but may be used if is idling.
Welcome to the NMR lab
at Princeton University !

Spectrometers Schedule:
(((in progress...
a new 300-MHz!!)))
--------------------------------------------------
400-MHz Varian INOVA:
(every day):
8am - 8pm = walk-on, 1 hr max
8pm - 8am = advance sign-up, 2 hrs max
--------------------------------------------------
500-MHz Varian INOVA:
(every day):
8am - 10am = advance sign-up,
2hrs max
10am - 1pm = walk-up, 1/2 hr max (*)
1pm - 8pm = walk-up, 1 hr max (*)
8pm - 8am = advance sign-up
Weekends: 8pm,Friday - 8am, Monday =
advance sign-up, unlimited.
(*) the NMR managers may override the walk-up time if a specific situation demands
(for example, NMR training for new users).
--------------------------------------------
(3x) 500-MHz Bruker AVANCEs:
Walk-up 24/7
(each equipped with 120-sample carousel) :
A1: Cryo-TCI (H1 optimized)
A2: Cryo-DCH (C13 optimized)
A3: Cryo-QNP (H1, C13, P31, N15)
--------------------------------------------
**600-MHz Varian INOVA:
(every day):
Advance sign-up after arrangement with
the NMR managers.
** Obs: The 600 spectrometer is currently connected to the CapNMR system.
In tube mode, any user may use it, providing probe swap is carried out by the NMR managers.
