I am a postdoctoral research associate
with John Storey
in Lewis Sigler Institute
for Integrative Genomics at
Princeton University since Jan. 2008. I completed my Ph.D. in
Computational Biology with
Dannie Durand at Carnegie
Mellon University, Pittsburgh in 2007. In my earlier life, I studied
Physics and received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from India.

My research interests are in developing and applying
computational methods for analyzing large-scale genomic
data. For my Ph.D. I worked on developing analytical statistical
methods, using a combinatorial approach, for spatial comparative
genomic studies and analyzed the role of large scale
duplication in insulin signaling evolution by taking a comparative genomic approach.

I am currently interested in taking an integrative approach in using
high-throughput genomic data, like gene expression and genotype data, to understand
transcriptional regulatory networks.
