Hello!
Welcome to the Princeton University Chapter of the
National
Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), first chartered in April
1981. NSBE is one of the largest student
run, non-profit organizations in the country with over 30,000 members worldwide. The mission of NSBE
is: “To increase the number of culturally responsible
black engineers who excel academically succeed professionally
and positively impact the community.”
The Princeton
University Chapter strives to fulfill this mission in countless
ways. We promote academic excellence through the form of tutoring,
mentoring and incentive programs. NSBE-PU also provides workshops
such as resume writing and networking skills in order to be
the ideal stepping-stone into the professional world. Our chapter serves our community through various volunteer
and community-based projects. But one of the most important
aspects of NSBE-PU is that we provide a strong network and
support system for minority engineers who voyage through Princeton. There is certainly much more
to be said about NSBE-PU. Details about our chapter, members
and projects can be seen throughout the website. Please enjoy
your visit and come again!
Sincerely,
Jessica Morgan Odeyemi
