One of the best and most comprehensive
of WWW sites is the Russian
and East European Studies (REES) Home page developed and maintained
at the University of Pittsburgh. I recommend starting here. Another excellent
site is Russian
and East European Network Information Center (REENIC) at the University
of Texas at Austin.
