Sunday Hike south Laurel Path to Gas Line-Baldwin trail (THIS INTERSECTION IS POORLY

MARKED--trail is on left but not marked at first) , then east on Gas Line-Baldwin to jct.

Black Forest trail (BF) hike north on BF to Little Slate Run, camp #2

Monday BF trail has been re-routed recently (the new trail is shown on the map)…Hike N on BF,

then E. Start going S on BF, look for trail to the east, take this to Slate Run Road.

Take the road 1.5 miles S (there should be BF blazers) to BF, go east on BF to camp

near #3.

Foster Hollow (water bad in 03), Slate Run, don't count on having water on the trail

Tuesday Hike north on BF then west to just before Francis Road to camp #4

second site (across river) is better.

Wednes Hike west on BF, cross Rt. 44, then south on BF to camp #4.5 west on Slate Run

Road. There might be a stream crossing coming out of camp in the morning that could

be tough; make sure to leave enough time and cross carefully!

Thursday Hike south on BF past George Will trail to camp #5.15 (an alternate route with less

water is the Sentiero di Shey Trail to George Will Trail to BF). Watch out for snakes in

this area.

Friday Hike east on Gas Line Baldwin trail across Rt. 44, to jct. Laurel Path, hike north on Laurel Path to jct. Rt. 44 and parking lot. Trips have

had trouble finding the Laurel Path in the past; if you need to you can always hike north on Rt. 44 VERY CAREFULLY to meet the

busses. And as always, BE CAREFUL CROSSING ROAD, DUDES.
