camp #4.25.

Monday

Hike south on BF across Francis Road and south to Slate Run, camp #3 LONG,

TOUGH DAY, GET EARLY START. Trail may be poorly marked in this area

(especially near stream crossing). - alternate route from Francis Rd to Foster Hollow

(3.5 mile day); be careful at river at camp #3

Tuesday

Re-route--Hike west until Slate Run Road (almost immediately after campsite.) Take

road N 1.5 miles (there should be BF blazes) until you reach a trail going off to the

west (should have small river near it). Take BF W, then N, then S, then E to camp #2.

Thursday

Hike north on BF camp #4.5 George Will Trail to Sentiero de Shey Trail. Take

Sentiero to Slate Run Road, west to camp #4.5. Watch out for rattlesnakes along

ridge. (Blackberry short-cut difficult to find - don't bother trying)
