Sunday Hike west on Phoenicia-East Branch Trail (PE - Yellow). Camp 200 yds east of

junction of PE-Y and GP-B. Day hike on Giant Ledge-Panther-Fox Hollow Trail (GP -

Blue) to Giant Ledge.

200 yds east from GP-PE jct on PE-Y
Monday Awesome sunrise from Giant Ledge, if you can motivate your group. Follow unnamed,

dotted trail South from the PE-Y/GP-B Jct. Do not hike on RT 47. Winnisook Lake is

on private property--no swimming. Continue south and west on PE-Y to jct. with

Curtis-Orsmbee Trail (CO - Blue). Camp near Curtis Monument.

Tuesday DAY HIKE east on CO-B to jct. with Wittenberg Slide Trail (WS-Red). Hike east on WS

to Slide Mountain. NO WATER ON RIDGE! Bring lots from camp. Look for John

Burroughs plaque at Slide Mtn. Camp near Curtis Monument.

Wednes Hike north on PE-Y to jct. with Slide Mountain Road. SUPPORT WILL PICK YOU UP

AT 11:00 AM at jct of Slide Mtn Rd and PE. (Be on time: Support is shuttling C19 in the

opposite direction). Support will drive you to jct. with Pine Hill-West Branch Trail (PW-

Blue). Hike north on PW to Biscuit Brook leanto.

Thursday Hike north on PW-B over Big Indian, Eagle, Haynes Mtns. to jct. with Oliverea-

Mapledale Trail (OM - Red). Hike SE on OM-R to McKinley Hollow leanto #2, camp.

Take lots of water on hike. Steep downhill so go slowly.
