Sunday Hike north on the Long Trail to Bromley Tenting Area, camp. Old shelter no longer

exists, there is a new shelter about 2 miles from drop-off.

Monday Hike north on the Long Trail to Griffith Lake tent Platform, camp. No water between

Tenting Area and Peru Peak Shelter. Long day so start early.

North end of USFS 58 (lake Trail), where it approaches Griffith Lake. Follow usual

Tuesday Hike north on the Long Trail to Big Branch Shelter, camp

Big Branch Shelter (if shelter full, use flat area by bridge - unmarked trail to right

after bridge)
Wednes Hike north on the Long Trail to Greenwall Shelter, camp may be limited water. Bring in

water (possibly from stream on trail). Possible detour around Little Rock Pond for

lunch on rocks. It's a great area. Side trail .6 miles before camp at White Rock has an

amazing view. FEE FOR CAMPING

Thursday Hike north on the Long Trail to cross Rt. 140 & Rt. 103 to south side of gorge/bridge,

camp BE CAREFUL CROSSING ROADS. Beware slippery descent. Also beware of

the termites and mice in the camping area on the south side of the Gorge!

impacted area south side of Clarenden Gorge (Clarenden Shelter 1 mile ahead also

possible); can also camp right by gorge before bridge, on the riverbank. Leaders

last year said this was a great spot and very convenient for your early pickup time!!
Friday Hike south on the Long Trail to Rt. 103 for pickup at gravel pull off on south side of Road
