Sunday Walk 100 yards north to junction of Rt. 7 and Roaring Brook Rd. Follow Roaring Brook

Rd. 0.5 mi to trailhead of Roaring Brook Trail. Follow RB Trail 1.5 mi to intersection

with Deer Hill Trail. Take DH Trail to Deer Hill Lean-to. Camp here. If the shelter is

full, and there is no impacted sight near by, hike to Hopper Rd. There is a primitive

campsite abut 3/4 mile past the Road.

Monday Hike South along Sperry Road to intersection with Hopper Trail, then East along Hopper

Trail to the AT. Continue hiking N on AT, over Mt. Greylock (nice lodge + good lunch

spot, but be wary of snackbar), to Wilbur's Clearing Shelter. Side trail off AT, Money

Brook Trail, leads to shelter. Robinson's Point also possible lunch spot.

Tuesday Hike north on AT to North Adams. Follow old road north to Phelps Rd. Go straight on

Phelps. Cross Rt. 2 and continue north on AT. Follow side trail to Sherman Brook

campsite. BE CAREFUL CROSSING ROAD!

Wednes Hike north on AT to MA/VT border where AT becomes Long Trail. Take the LT North to

Seth Warner Shelter. Take "bad weather bypass" (blue blazed; dotted on map) to avoid

steep rock face. NO WATER DURING DAY. Fill up big-time early.

Thursday Hike north on LT to a junction with blue blazed spur trail after beaver dam. Great lunch

spot at Sucker Pond. Go 0.2 miles west on spur trail to Congdon campsite. Looking

out of leanto to the right, trail just above privy (not marked well), a little ways up trail is

tent space. If creek is dry follow it downstream 100 yards to Stamford Stream.

Friday Hike north on LT to parking lot near Green Mountain sign on Rt. 9 LONG HIKE NEEDS EARLY START- STEEP LAST MILE (downhill).

Be careful, dangerous road crossing!
