| Tuesday | Hike south on AT across Rt. 9 through Dalton. In Dalton, follow the white blazes down |
| | Gulf Road, cross Park Ave to High Street. Follow High Street until it dead-ends at the |
| | jct of Rts. 8 and 9. Cross intersection and go East on Rt. 8. Turn Right onto Depot |
| | Street. From end of Depot St, cross Housatonic St onto dirt lumber-company |
| | driveway. Continue on AT to Kay Wood Shelter. Side trail leads 0.2 miles to Kay |

| | packet from Debbie Klaber if necessary. Spring may be dry, so bring water filter. Bear |
| | bags go in caretaker's cabin. ONLY ONE PRINCETON GROUP CAN CAMP HERE AT |
