Hike north on AT to Quarry Gap Shelter. There is a campsite before the shelter behind

some hedge growth, but there are no trees for the tarp so continue 0.2 miles past the

campsite to the actual shelter.

site C. Reservation #21805062. Beach and lake perfect for swimming a little further

down the trail in Pince Grove Park.

Hike north on AT, then 0.2 miles on blue'blazed side trail to James Fry Shelter... BE

CAREFUL CROSSING ROAD. Look for AT's conventional midpoint just north of Pine

Grove Furnace. At campsite, good tarp spots down the hill by stream

Hike north on AT to Alec Kennedy Shelter side trail. Take side trail to shelter. Leave

early so there is plenty of time to check out Rock Maze on Rocky Ridge. Get water

@ Dogwood Run 1/2 mile before camp. Limitted tarping at shelter. If shelter is taken,

look for tarp sites at base of hill along AT. Be sure to camp at least 150' from trail and

water sources.
