Sunday Pick up AT at end of Panorama driveway, near circle. Hike south on the AT. Camp

next to Byrds Nest Shelter 3. Alternative campsite on N side (left as you head toward

Skyline Drive) of Meadow Spring Trail, 0.1 miles from Jct w/ AT, hidden behind tall

brush. View from Mary's Rock is spectacular! Try to catch the sunset.

Spring Trail; bring two chickens from bus.

Campsite1:
Byrd's Nest Shelter 3, 0.7 mi south of jct of AT and Meadow Spring Trail.
Monday Hike South on the AT about 5mi to Nicholson Hollow Trail. Hike east on NHT to

intersection with Corbin Cabin Cutoff Trail. Camp near Corbin Cabin but make sure to

stay at least 100 yards from Cabin to comply with park regulations.

Tuesday Hike East on Nicholson Hollow Trail to South on Route 600, taking road percautions.

Hike through parking lot, West onto Weakly Hollow Fire Road. Look for campsite

immediately at Jct w/ Corbin Hollow Trail on left.

Wednes DAY HIKE -- Will return to same campsite afterward. East on Weakly Hollow Fire

Road to South on Ridge Trail, up and over Old Rag Mtn, continue along as it becomes

Saddle Trail and turns West, and back on Weakly Hollow Trail to campsite. Attn:

awesome views, but very perilous along Ridge Trail. Great lunch spots at top of Old

Rag Mtn. Recommend change plans in wet weather, e.g. go up and back on Saddle

Trail.

Thursday West on Corbin Hollow Trail, West on Old Rag Fire Road, South on Skyland-Big

Meadows Horse Trail, cross Whiteoak Canyon (great view and sweet waterfalls and

swimming holes down-trail a bit if interested), to South on Whiteoak Canyon Fire Road,

to West on Skyland-Big Meadows Horse Trail, to Southeast on Cedar Run Trail. Camp

near here. Water drop in parking lot near AT at 5pm.
