Hike South on AT. Great views at Timber Hollow Overlook and Crescent Rock

Overlook. From AT, veer SE on Cedar Run Trail at Hawksbill Gap. Hike approx 0.2

miles down trail, look for campsite down slope off to right. Water may be hard to find,

so be sure to fill up early!

Monday

Hike east on Skyland Big Meadows horse trail to north on White Oak Canyon Fire

Road to Southeast on White Oak Canyon Trail to Rt. 600. Awesome falls through

White Oak Canyon. Hike north on Route 600 to Berry Hollow Fire Road, which turns

into Weakly Hollow Fire Road. Camp off Weakly Hollow between junctions with

Robertson Mtn Trail and Corbin Hollow Trail.

DAY HIKE. Northeast on Weakly Hollow Fire Road to parking lot at Jct. of Rt. 600

and Ridge Trail. Hike up Old Rag Mountain on Ridge Trail and descend on Saddle Trail.

Return to camp. Red flag: Ridge Trail is extremely dangerous; recommend change

of plans in event of rain, e.g. hike up and back on Saddle Trail.
