The Outdoor Action Program at Princeton University has been offering a Wilderness Orientation program for incoming students since 1974. Each year 52% of the class participates in a 6-day wilderness trip. In 2001, 613 students and 163 student leaders participated in 68 different trips in 7 states making the OA Frosh Trip the largest college wilderness orientation program based on participant-days.
