South of East Pyne and the
Andlinger Center is Murray-Dodge Hall, an active building for student
groups. The facility houses a 200-seat student-run theater known as Theatre
Intime in addition to offices for various religious and social service
organizations.
Next to Murray-Dodge are
twin Greek-revival buildings called Whig and Clio halls. Whig Hall houses
the American Whig-Cliosophic Society, the nation's oldest college
political, literary, and debate society; Clio Hall contains the
Undergraduate Admission Lobby and Graduate Admission Office. Prospective
students are encouraged to stop by to obtain application information and
attend an admissions information session.
In front of Whig and Clio
is grassy area known as Cannon Green, which features a legendary
Revolutionary War cannon planted in the center.
