Named for Gerhard Andlinger '52,
the Andlinger Center for the Humanities serves as the new
hub for the humanities on campus. The center brings together
a number of departments and programs, including classics,
several foreign languages, Judaic studies, Hellenic studies,
and the Council of the
Humanities. At the heart of the Andlinger Center is the renovated
Chancellor Green, which now serves as a common area with
comfortable seating and study spaces. Other
Andlinger Center facilities include an Internet-friendly
café, a 71-seat auditorium, a language laboratory,
a computer classroom, and several seminar rooms.
