CONTRACT DINERS

Students wishing to eat a Passover meal covered by their dining contract or POINTS system may make a reservation here. Once the reservation is made, you will be ineligible to eat the reserved meal at any PU dining hall other than the Center for Jewish Life, and you will be charged for the meal.

NON-CONTRACT DINERS

Meals taken at the CJL during Passover by Students, Faculty and Staff not covered by a dining contract may be charged to the individual’s Dining Points account. If you wish to pay by cash or check, please register in person at the CJL office.  Once you have signed up you will be charged for 

Students Only may still use their Student Charge, the Faculty-Staff Charge is discontinued.

EATING CLUB MEMBERS

Your club may subsidize or reimburse you for your meals. Your student account will be charged by Dining Services. Print out your confirmation e-mail and present it to your club manager for reimbursement. Your club will reimburse your student account for whatever they feel is appropriate. Contact Passover Sign-Ups or Susan Waskow in the CJL office if you or your club manager has any questions.

UPPERCLASS & GRADUATE STUDENTS (UC & GS)

The Center for Jewish Life will subsidize some meals for upperclass and graduate students as noted below:

First Night Seder, March 27, 2002

Second Night Seder, March 28, 2002 is not eligible for subsidy.

Dinner, Monday, April 1

Lunch: buy one, get one (same person/different day) lunch free.  Maximum of 3 free lunches.

Dinner: buy one, get one (same person/different day) free.  Maximum of 3 free dinners, including April 1.

You must sign up in advance for free meals. No refunds. You must enter your class year of GS (Graduate Student) to be eligible.

Meal subsidies (by the CJL) are for students only. Faculty, staff, community members and guests are not eligible and must pay full price.

Passover Announcement to the Community

In accordance with the guidelines of Princeton University Department of Dining Services, the Passover Seders at the CJL will be limited to students, faculty and staff and their families. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

**IMPORTANT**

  • Entry to the Center for Jewish Life for all meals during the Passover period, starting at lunch, Wednesday, March 27 through dinner Thursday, April 4 will be by RESERVATION ONLY.
  • Space for the Seders is limited! Register early! If the Seders fill up before the end of the registration period, that portion of the sign up form will be disabled.
  • No reservations are required for breakfasts.
  • Complete all information on form as requested.
  • Verify the number of meals and the number of people you are signing up. Don't forget to list the Seder you will be attending.
  • All meals must be registered for in advance.
  • Members of the Princeton non-University community must sign up in person in advance at the CJL office.
  • Checks or cash can only be accepted at the CJL office.
  • Meal exchanges are not valid during Passover.

Fill out name, social security number, etc. entirely. Check off dates of meals. Don't forget to select the Seder you will be attending. All meals must be registered for in advance - Walk-ins will not be accepted.
