December 5, 2001: From the Archives

This photograph bears the date 1883 and four names, only one of which is a Princetonian, Henry Ewing Hale II, Class of 1892, who sits up front under the plaid blanket. (It seems these fellows have been driving around Princeton in the rain.) Who knows if the photo is simply
misdated or if Hale is a young lad of 12 when this was taken?
