Spencer Michels '59
Spencer Michels '59 studied journalism after Princeton, and now he is a television news producer for the MacNeil-Lehrer Newshour on public television. This program allows him the luxury of covering issues and news stories in depth-something that news reporters for commercial station are not able to do. The downside to working for in public television is having to worry about fundraising.
Jodi Picoult '87
Jodi Picoult '87 is now an acoomplished and prolific novelist. Her newest novel, Picture Perfect, is about a woman married to a famous actor who physically abuses her. While occasionally Jodi takes inspiration from her own life with her husband and three children in Vermont, this book does not reflect her family situation now. Jodi has several books in various stages of development and has sold the film rights to several as well.
